Delivery
& Returns.

Everything about how your star map is made, how it reaches you, and what happens if something isn't right. This policy applies across all our sales channels.

Last updated: July 2026

1. Free UK Delivery

Standard delivery is free on every UK order — there is no minimum spend and no delivery charge is added at checkout. The price you see is the price you pay.

2. Made to Order & Dispatch Times

Each map is calculated from astronomical data and printed to order in the UK — nothing is shipped from stock. Because every piece is made for you, orders are typically dispatched within 2–4 working days, and we send you a confirmation once your order is on its way.

Delivery times after dispatch are estimates provided by our carrier and are not guaranteed. If your order hasn't arrived within a reasonable time, email us and we'll chase it up.

3. Personalised Goods — No Change-of-Mind Returns

Every star map is personalised and made to order to the exact date, time, place and wording you provide. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, goods made to a consumer's specification or clearly personalised are exempt from the 14-day right to cancel. This means that, once your order is in production, we are unable to accept a return or cancellation simply because you have changed your mind.

Please double-check every detail — names, date, time, location and spelling — before you place your order. If you spot a mistake, email admin@shopcienty.com as soon as possible: if your order has not yet gone to print, we'll do our best to correct it.

4. Faulty, Damaged or Not as Described

Your statutory rights are unaffected by the section above. Because every map is made uniquely for you, a returned print cannot be resold — so if your map arrives faulty, damaged in transit, or not as described or ordered, our standard remedy is to reprint and reship it free of charge. We cover the postage, and in most cases you do not need to send the damaged piece back — a photo of the issue is enough.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 the goods we supply must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. Where goods are faulty you also keep your 30-day right to reject them for a refund instead of a replacement, and nothing here limits that right.

5. How to Report a Problem

Email admin@shopcienty.com within 30 days of receiving your order, quoting your order reference and, where possible, a photo of the issue. We aim to respond within 2 working days and put it right quickly.
