Sky, That Night makes one thing, and makes it properly: a print of the real sky above a real place, on the night that mattered to you. Not an illustration of stars — the actual arrangement of them, calculated for your date, your minute and your coordinates.

We are a small, independent UK business. There is no call centre and no outsourced support desk — the same people who build the maps answer the email, usually within two working days.

Every order runs through our own astronomy engine. It places over eleven thousand stars from professional catalogues exactly where they stood above your location at your chosen moment, draws the constellation lines between them, and computes the true phase of the moon for that night — full, new, or the precise crescent in between.

What you see in the configurator is what we print. Nothing is stock artwork, and no two orders are the same file.

Each piece is printed to order in a UK fine-art lab on 200gsm enhanced matte art paper at giclée quality, then either shipped rolled in a protective tube or fitted by hand into a wooden frame with shatter-safe glazing. Framed orders arrive ready to hang. Orders are dispatched from the United Kingdom, typically within 2–4 working days.

Payments are processed by Stripe, one of the world's largest payment providers. Card details are entered on Stripe's own secure checkout and are never seen or stored by us. Prices on this website are in pounds sterling and include VAT; UK delivery is free and already included in the price shown.

We also sell through our Etsy shop, SkyThatNight, and post our work on Instagram and Pinterest. Whichever channel you order through, the same people make and post your map.
